You'd think they'd be easy to find. You'd think with all of the jeans out there, that they'd have perfectly slouchy, distressed jeans down to a science. And yet somehow, they keep making jeans that have obviously machine-made rips, tacky bleach patterns (which I liken to bad highlights) and saggy bums. Yuck. And the companies who have the distressing figured out charge $300, a price my designer-shoe-strapped budget won't easily allow.
GAP just released its 1969 Destructed Girlfriend Jeans and they are heeeaaavvveeen. Like, perfectly distressed (and guaranteed to get better with time and wear), fitted where it counts and only $79.95. I'm buying in Brooklyn Beach and White. I don't care if Spring '15 is all about clean, dark denim - every woman needs a pair of these. Oh, and remember to go down a size - they'll stretch.
